I Didn't Want To Learn PowerShell, And So Can You!
Tuesday July 7, 2026 9:00am - 4:30pm EDT
Charles is not a PowerShell advocate. He doesn't even like it very much. But even he will admit, PowerShell for macOS does what it says on the tin: It is, in fact, a command line shell with some considerable power, and it does a pretty good job automating tasks on macOS. Whether you're a dyed-in-the-wool bash scripter, or you've never ventured into the Terminal beyond pasting in "defaults write" commands, if you're PowerShell curious, this hands-on workshop is for you. It may even surprise you.

Remember: You've already selected your workshop during registration. Adding this workshop to your sched agenda does not count.

Wait, We Have to Be What? Making Sense of Compliance for Mac Admins
Thursday July 9, 2026 9:00am - 9:45am EDT
One day your manager walks over and says the company needs to be SOC 2 compliant, NIST aligned, or ISO-27001. And just like that, compliance becomes your problem. If you've ever nodded along while quietly wondering what any of it actually means for your apple fleet, your team, or your organization, this session is for you. We'll map major frameworks, cut through the tool noise from GRC platforms to the macOS Security Compliance Project and give you a process that scales from SOC 2 to FedRAMP.

Then it takes you further into decisions, tradeoffs, and pro tips that separate reactive from proactive IT teams.

AI Got Good: Now What?
Friday July 10, 2026 9:00am - 10:15am EDT
I used to think AI was mostly useless. Confident nonsense that sounded right and wasted time. Then I actually started using it to build something real — and it changed my mind. This session is about what I learned: how to give AI clear direction, how to constrain it so it stops making things up, and why your domain knowledge is still the thing that makes it actually work.
